I have always had headaches and problems with my jaw locking, but then my jaw was stuck for two whole weeks! I had a narrow arch and my teeth were crooked. It affected my mood because I was in pain and uncomfortable most of the time. It affected my looks because my eyes were droopy and I didn’t smile much.
I had braces put on to help realign my bite by widening my arch and putting my teeth into alignment. My whole face is more open and my smile is fuller and brighter. What a difference!

I feel like I grew up with Dr. Patrice and Dr. Chris! I started coming here when I was 12, first for fillings and then braces. But I also had a space between my front teeth and I really hated it. So I had veneers put on my front teeth right before my promotion from eighth grade.

Well, I work for the doctors and so I know better than anyone what they can do to make someone’s smile look beautiful. My teeth were narrow and crooked. They turned inwards and I had a gummy smile. It got worse the older I got, and finally I knew I had to do something about it.
Dr. Patrice put braces on my teeth and it was so exciting to see them start to move into place. I also had CEREC® crowns put on my molars. Orthodontic work does take some time, but the long-term results are priceless. Everyone comments on my smile and I feel so good about it. I had veneers from another dentist and one of them actually fell off. I called the Winterhollers’ office and they said come in immediately, even though it was the day before a holiday! Dr. Patrice examined my teeth and I needed several veneers replaced.
I had new veneers put on and my metal fillings replaced with white ones. I also had my teeth whitened.
I’m a forensic expert witness and I testify at a lot of trials. It’s really helped my confidence on the witness stand. One of the judges told me my teeth were perfect.

My wife had dental work done by Dr. Chris and that is the reason I also got started going to Dr. Chris, in Payson, AZ.
Due to a childhood injury I lost several teeth and part of my palate, as well.
Most of my life I had worn two partials, which had to be replaced several times because of breaking, mis-fitting and further problems with my existing teeth and periodontal disease.
I started the restoration process with Dr. Chris by having my existing teeth examined and cleaned and some extractions were done. Several impressions were taken for a perfect fit for the new teeth. During this time, I wore temporary partials. I was never without teeth and had minimal discomfort. I now have one partial and veneers.
Until I saw the before and after pictures that were taken, I had not realized how discolored and out of alignment my teeth had been. For the first time in my life, I liked smiling and am proud of the way I look.
If you are thinking of having this done, I suggest you do not wait. Having a beautiful smile and feeling good about yourself makes it all worthwhile.

I was referred to Dr. Chris when my last dentist wouldn’t work on my bite. I knew I needed help with it; I’d worn down my teeth with night grinding and was self-conscious about how I looked. It made me look older.
Dr. Chris did some bite tests on me and found out I had TMJ really bad. So he opened up my bite, giving me crowns and bridges.
Now I smile a lot more and I don’t cover my mouth with my hand. People tell me they like my teeth! Dr. Chris and his team are so knowledgeable and friendly. I tell anyone who’s thinking about this kind of work to do it. It doesn’t hurt and the results are definitely worth it.
